Innovate everyday
Ultimaker helps engineers, designers, and educators turn ideas into real, functional parts. But as 3D printing grew more advanced, the brand needed a clearer, more human way to tell that story – one that made the technology feel both accessible and inspiring. The new identity positions Ultimaker as a guide in that journey: where digital files become physical parts and global ideas meet local production. At its core is the theme of transformation – from square to circle, from first prototype to refined product – capturing the full arc from concept to creation. To make this story visible, we introduced a set of infill-inspired patterns, each drawn from real 3D printing techniques. They translate technical settings into a visual language, adding an expressive, artistic layer to the system while keeping a clear link to the printing process itself. The result is a dynamic identity that stays consistent across packaging, interfaces, and environments, yet remains flexible enough to adapt to new products and contexts. It helps Ultimaker communicate a simple promise: innovation in 3D printing that’s not only efficient and reliable, but also creative, tangible, and within reach.
